In order to better promote the spirit of "humanity, philanthropism and dedication" of the Red Cross and popularize knowledge of life science, on October 12th, the Remains (Cornea) Donation Volunteer Service Team of the Red Cross in Jinan came to Yinfeng Biological Group to participate in public benefit activities of "visiting and tour of Life Science Education ", which was jointly hold by Shandong Yinfeng Life Science Public Welfare Foundation and the Red Cross in Jinan.

      On the morning of October 12th, a visiting group consisting of the executives of the Red Cross in Jinan and 16 members of the Remains (Cornea) Donation Volunteer Service Team of the Red Cross visited the cryogenic medicine research center, genetic engineering research laboratories, umbilical cord blood hematopoietic stem cell preparation and preservation laboratories, cell preparation and expansion laboratories, etc. with the guide of professionals from the Shandong Yinfeng Institute of Life Sciences. The tour gives a chance for comprehensive and intuitive visits to life science research and deepening understanding of life sciences and cryogenic medicine.

Since the establishment of the Remains (Cornea) Donation Volunteer Service Team of the Red Cross in Jinan, it has persisted in giving full play to its expertise and actively organized and carried out volunteer service activities in line with the purposes and spirit of the Red Cross. The members of the service team who participated in the event said that through on-site visits, they’ve learned that life sciences are not only active cutting-edge of science, but also lead the development of many disciplines, even the humans understanding about nature and their own trends. In the future, they will apply the relevant knowledge they’ve learnt to daily bases.

Shandong Yinfeng Life Science Research Institute has a variety of professional laboratories, on the basis of that, there’re science exhibition hall and fixed spots for science activities, which makes it perfect for promoting life science education. In the next step, Yinfeng Life Science Public Welfare Foundation will give full play to its unique advantages on the basis of its own characteristics to promote the development of life sciences and cryogenic medicine, to dedicate itself to improve the scientific literacy of the entire nation, deepen cooperation with the Red Cross in Jinan, and actively participate in public welfare activities and make greater contributions to humanitarian.
