The award ceremony for the 2017 "Award for Friendship in Spring City" was held on the afternoon of September 5th in Shungeng Hillview Hotel. AARON DRAKE, a distinguished foreign expert of the Shandong Yinfeng Life Sciences Research Institute, was awarded the "Award for Friendship in Spring City", and Wang Zhonglin, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jinan Municipal Committee, and Mayor Wang Zhonglin presented the prizes personally, Zhang Zhuxiu, director of the Provincial Foreign Experts Bureau, Wang Zhuang, Director of the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, participated in the event.

 “Award for Friendship in Spring City” is the highest award presented by the Jinan Municipal Government to foreign experts for the recognition of foreign experts who have made outstanding contributions to the economic and social development of the city. It was established in 2008 and is generally selected once in every two years. The award obtaining by the municipal government is a full affirmation for Yinfeng’s introduction of foreign talents and intellectual work, as well as the full recognition of Yinfeng’s achievements in cultural exchanges and technological cooperation and development between China and foreign countries.

Mayor Wang Zhonglin said in the meeting that with the degree of opening-up to the outside world in Jinan is gradually expanding, more and more foreign experts come to work in Jinan, which has contributed to the economic and social development, and made outstanding contributions to the opening-up and the cultural exchanges in Jinan, will be fully affirmed and widely praised.

Aaron DRAKE formally joined Yinfeng in April 2016. He is currently the chief expert of cryogenic medicine and vice chairman of the cryogenic medical expert committee of Shandong Yinfeng Life Science Research Institute. During the hiring period, he guided the formation of the first cryopreservation research center for human tissues and organs in the country and leaded the design and development of large-scale cryopreservation equipment and the world's largest continuous-type cooling instrument. With the efforts of AARON DRAKE, our company established close cooperation with the Philadelphia Organ Bank and the International Organ Banking union, which led to the establishment of cooperative intentions with Cook Regentec and the chief scientists of the 21st Century American Biotechnology Company. For the condition control, processing, preservation conditions, resuscitation methods and treatments of human tissue and organ donors, it provides valuable experience for local scientific research and clinical teams.
